Huilloq is a remote village half hour from Ollantaytambo, the gate way city for taking the train to the famous Inca ruins at Machu PIcchu. Backpackers visit this village to see the locals in their colorful native costumes and hats and take their pictures. Dog Meets World phodographer Austin Lane (seen here) took the process one step further by printing and sharing copies of the photos with the villagers on the spot!

The mother is trying hard to look serious and dignified posing with her daughter’s first photograph. She’s just pleased as punch and can’t suppress her joy! This outstanding scene is captures the iconic image of Dog Meets World and how a simple photograph can be so meaningful.
