A devastating earthquake hit Haiti yesterday near Port-au-Prince, not far from where this school is located and these pictures were taken. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and this natural disaster will bring untold new challenges. Blanchard school has suffered damage and has major cracks. Let us remember the beautiful people, our island neighbors in Haiti and do what you can to help.

A study reported that subjects were able to tolerate more pain when they were looking at photos of loved ones and suggest bring loved ones’ photos to painful procedures may be beneficial. Wow, yet another reason for Dog Meets World to help share photos with those in need.

Here is Dog Meets World founder Carolyn Lane among the students of the Blanchard school. The children do not receive annual school photos that we are so accustomed to in the US. During this photo tour, we used three portable printers to give each student a beautiful full color 4×6 memorable school picture of themselves. The kids patiently waited for all the photos to be distributed and showed their endless delight!
