According to the State Dept. significantly more students are studying abroad, up by more than 8.5% and 15 of the top educational destinations are outside of Western Europe, including countries like India and China. Dog Meets World is a great adjunct program for such students to enhance cultural understanding and sharing through photography!

Amy spent one week in July volunteering at Bajo Tejares in San Ramone, Costa Rica. Her assignment in the large group was to add Dog Meets World to enhance interactions with local residents. With a brand new camera she was thrilled to participate saying “Everyone on the trip was so touched at how much joy the pictures brought! I would never have imagined the impact it would have on them and on me!“. In fact, she is returning over Thanksgiving bringing along her family, including her own young children, to continue to photograph the children and families of the area.
