NEW Phodographer Itza Carbajal in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Aug. 2010

Itza, a student at the University of Texas in San Antonio spent part of her summer volunteering at an orphanage in Honduras. She said about doing Dog Meets World with the children that “I think what struck them the most was that they could actually keep their pictures. As for my helpers, the kids were my phodogers. Many of them became very good photographers by the end of my visit. This little girl (above) had the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. I loved asking her to pose with Foto because her smile would always appear like magic. She radiated with joy in very picture I took of her. Surprising, how children who has gone through so much pain can still shine with happiness in a photograph!”
