Daily Foto: Sharing the “magical” prints in Cambodia

Phodographer Professor Patrick Fleming, Siem Reap, Cambodia, August 2009

Last summer after completing a Fulbright Scholarship in China, Patrick spent a week in Cambodia. While exploring the countryside not far from the famous Angkor Wat temple, he visited a school to share his words “the magical prints of Dog Meets World. SOID is an established NGO (non-governmental organization) that provides schooling for grades one through eight in Siem Reap. Volunteers from around the world come to teach students English and share a bit of their own culture. Short on means but long on energy, these students have come to value education as a way to grow and provide for themselves and their future families.”
With summer upon us and travel plans in the works, consider including Dog Meets World as part of your time abroad.
