Phodographer Anna Myers back in Los Angeles de Nandayure, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, January 2010

On their first return to the small village where Anna and her husband Anibal met and fell in love, they included time for the Dog Meets World project and took 50 photos of the local children. As a former Peace Corps volunteer, Anna immediately saw the value in sharing personal photography. She passed on the equipment and the little Foto dog to current Peace Corps volunteer and friend Kirsten Woodruff, who has already been busy practicing Take & Give Photography for DMW! Delores Barr Weaver, co-owner Jacksonville Jaguars

"Dog Meets World went over fabulously in my village. It is a perfect option for Peace Corps volunteers like myself. I like the Foto dog mascot, kids like it, and it is a representation of the peace and the ideas of the project."

Kristen Woodruff, Phodographer Costa Rica

"The kids are absolutely loving Dog Meets World. For a majority, these were the first images of themselves that they have ever owned."
