The Daily Foto: Mini Portable Printers

WOW, technology is amazing in these new pocket-sized portable printers by Polaroid (POGO CZA-10011B, left) and Dell (Wasabi PZ310 right) that render any space concerns about taking along a printer null and void. They measure about 3 x 5 inches and weigh about 8 ounces! Bonus, they are also highly affordable. They both use ZINK (zero-ink) paper, meaning no carrying ink cartridges either. They can be used wirelessly or via USB cable from your digital camera. Also prints in about a minute.

Downside is the photo produced is only 2×3, one quarter of the size of the standard 4×6 picture. But if the choice is between a small print or no print, these mini printers are the answer! Now Dog Meets World can be part of everyone’s travels! Information on other recommended printers can be found under Participate.
