The Daily Foto: Printing in Peru

Phodographer Austin Lane in Huilloq, Peru November 2008
Half an hour by taxi from the closest tourist area, Dog Meets World brought Take & Give Photography to this local village. Watching the printer brought endless amazement as the children and adults awaited their first pictures being printed.
The Daily Foto: What a beautiful baby

Phodographer Patti Hughes in Santiago, Guatemala, March 2009

Does it get any better than this?….giving a parent a first picture of their child? Anyone traveling can get their own Foto dog and a printer to be part of this movement to share personal photography with the rest of the world. Join Dog Meets World today and become a phodographer.
The Daily Foto: Taking a Ride

Phodographer Leah Hudson in Cite Soleil, Haiti, April 2009
The little stuffed mascot Foto is taking a ride. Cite Soleil means City of the Sun and it’s definitely toasty in Haiti. The heat did not dampen the fun of passing along Foto, the puppy prop. Foto, seen in all the pictures, unites Dog Meets World photos from around the world and identifies them as part of a project to get photos in the hands of all the world’s children in need.
The Daily Foto: How old is old?

Phodographer Carolyn Lane near Cape Town, South Africa Feb. 2009
I was asked to take a first picture of the “old” man. When I inquired as to his age he answered 53….I retorted to my associates “be careful who you are calling old“. In South Africa aging might yield a loss of teeth, but certainly not a loss of joy.
The Daily Foto: I love Photography!

Phodographer Kelly Crayne in San Ramone, Costa Rica, July 2009
Professional photographer/phodographer Kelly said “One of the best parts of participating in the “Dog Meets World” project was that I was able to use one of my passions to do something for others. I love photography !” She was thrilled to take pictures then print them immediately on-the-site so these beautiful children could have their first permanent memento of their youth.
