Phodographer Amy Speckman in San Ramone, Costa Rica, July 2009

In an attempt to entice the children to smile Amy would encourage them by saying “Dame una sonreisa grande!” which means “Give me a big smile!” and “Donde esta tu dientes?” which means “Where are your teeth?”, which always got a giggle out of them! Never having had their pictures taken, the children did not automatically smile for the camera.
