In an attempt to entice the children to smile Amy would encourage them by saying “Dame una sonreisa grande!” which means “Give me a big smile!” and “Donde esta tu dientes?” which means “Where are your teeth?”, which always got a giggle out of them! Never having had their pictures taken, the children did not automatically smile for the camera.

With a grin as wide as her face this little girl laughed with glee, saying the baby was not heavy he was her brother. What a pleasure to Take & Give her this photograph.

While in his neighborhood a resident graciously allowed us the use the back of his van to print pictures. He was happy as each child watched their first photo being printed. Once he received his own he walked around enthusiastically with a huge proud grin showing everyone his very own first picture!

Preschool teacher Shiella Dlovu said “it is a wonderful thing to make first time photos for the children” and that Cecelia and the others will keep them for “a very long time madame”.
