Matt Blocker is a dogsitter extraordinaire! They have formed a true bond and Matt volunteered to take care of the star dog, the canine inspiration for the Dog Meets World project, at the debut Launch party on August 24th. New Phodographer Amy Speckman in Bajo Tejares, Costa Rica, July 2009

With a brand new camera in tow, Amy Speckman resonated immediately with DMW…she said “Everyone on the trip was so touched at how much joy the pictures brought! I would never have imagined the impact it would have on them and on me! Taking their pictures gave me an opportunity to talk to them for a moment, ask them their name and their age and a few other personal questions while I was setting up each shot. I feel like I have 400 friends in this village now!” What a perfect definition of photo diplomacy.
