Patti Hughes (of Natural Life) and co-phodographer Allison Hillis just returned from Guatemala. “Zunil was the most colorful village we stumbled across. The people here are bolder because they are weaving and wearing whatever colorful combination they can come up with, while most villagers wear only traditional colors.”

Patti exhorts everyone to get involved saying ‘It’s the most rewarding experience to hand a child a photograph of themselves. Take and Give photography!’

Convincing children that have not had their pictures taken before to smile takes much coaxing, and still most do not smile (until immediately after the picture is taken). This reminds us that to smile for the camera is a learned response! However, when this girl did smile it was radiant!

Co-phodographer Sean Pfitzenmaier is surrounded by curious villagers. Watching the Protecting the printer portable printer produce a vivid photograph in under a minute is spell-binding. The spark of imagination the process supplies is an extra added bonus to the Dog Meets World experience!
As it began to slightly drizzle, this little boy grabbed Austin’s hat and will all the seriousness he could muster, firmly held the hat over the printer to protect it. It was obvious even to this young boy that the printer was producing something very valuable.
